definatly. hell, with the same power, i had my 4 10's 4db's louder than my 4 15's. of course, they couldn't play sub 35hz notes either:up2somet:

if you have 1500 watts and two 8's, cone area.

I would take cone area if cost was an issue. Its cheaper.

No, u have me confused with someone else. I run 15's 95% of the time out of a trunk.

thats not me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif i went from the 2-12 and the 3-10s and i was at the same number as with teh 2-12s with 1/4 of the boxes and fcuked up battery and wrong impedance subs. push my stats you will see best score i did at a show last year was a 150.9 with the 2-12s and this year i manged a 150.9 but did a 151 in a losing round. i was doinga 151.5 but i cut my port 2 inches shorter and put angles in my box, the night before the show without testing

so yah cone area>power well for me....
