Anyways. Theoretically, you could, but that would be a lot of voltage, and generally car amps are designed for low impedances and higher current, rather than higher impedances and voltage and lower current.

Generally not a good idea, some amps don't step up their transformers to a high enough voltage to make a true load. It just pumps all of what it has, and usually kills the amp. Stick to 4 ohms and below for safety.

If you have 2x dual 2 ohm subs, you put both of their coils in parallel, so that you essentially have 2x 1 ohm subs. You then series them up so that electrically they look like 1 2 ohm load. The Kicker zx 750.1 is made for 750W@2ohm. The 10" CVR is made for 400WRMS each, so you're running them at 375W each in this configuration. As for the rest of your setup, it's probably your install and box. Then again, what is loud to you?

very possible the shop you had wired the old subs to 8 ohms if the guy was a tard. also, make sure you subs aren't wired out of phase. That could do it.
