whats louder then 2 12 type R's on 900rms?

i had them in 4 cubic feet tuned to 35. =142bd metered by local shop.

i dont know what 2 get, theres so many options.

can someone give me some tips and guide me in a direction?

looking for an sql setup. i got $1,200 to spen on subs, class AB and D amp.

i have them in a sealed box 1 cube each now in a different car and its not enough now.

my friend has 2 12w'3 and 1000/1 in a sealed box and it blows mine away

Why are you worrying about SPL in a sealed enclosure?

Go ported if it's really that important.

it all depends on how much voltage fluid your amp has vs. his. If your amp is low on voltage fluid then there is no way you will be able to beat his amp, 1000/1s are well known to have a basically endless supply of voltage fluid.

The only way to really check to see if your fluid is full is to take it to a local shop or send it to the manufacturer and have them inspect the guts of the amp, unfortunately it's far too complicated for most people to attempt. Hope this answers your question.

Doesn't sound like you want "SQL" at all, I've yet to hear anything about the front stage...which is the most important part if you're actually concerned about loud sound quality.

And Type R's and any SQ application just aren't going together.
