Whats Louder 2 Solo X's or L7s

I'm gonna say the 2x15's are going to beat the 2x12's.

However thats complete speculation given the fact that we don't know what the vehicles or box specs are...
it aint even 2 12"... this is ridiculous, the 2 15" will pwn the 12"...

I have a question I currently have a 12" Solo X and my buddy has 2 12" solo x's I recently ordered 2 15" L7s and Was wondering which will be louder or what do you think will be louder?

Spectate....

Anyone hear any of these or guess. Im guessing because the cone area is greater that the L7s will be louder but am unsure. What do you think?

Reading before you speak>you

was referring by what he was saying here:

Ill let you guys know tomorrow whats louder. Because the L7s are going in tomorrow and bye to the solo x. but 2 15" L7s definetly will be louder then one solo x 12"? I would guess

sry for the misunderstanding.....lol

the box was done and installed. Which was totally done wrong. Tuned at 45hz and they say that thats what kicker said to tune it to. Also the ports are facing the front while the subs are facing the rear so the ports are exactly on the other side. It sounds so bad. Im having another place build me one to 35hz and ports on the side. Thank god for visa chargebacks...

wow man, that totally sucks, build your own box....do what you want, lot of people over here can help you

I've all the test for L7 vs Solo X. On the burps...the L7 got just as loud as the X's. They actually did the exact same number...and L7's are also more efficient at lower power. However, with high power and abuse...the Solo X is a better choice.

For a daily setup...L7's all the way.

I just got the new box in and installed. For some reason the lows dont hit how I want them to. Do I need to let them break in before they hit low? I dont understand it. Im gonna mess with everything then let you guys know.

It you want to hit lower, tune it lower. 35 hertz is not low by any means.

I dont know, i have my 2 12" L7s @34hz and they can get LOW. If they're brand new give them time to break in the spider because L7s are really stiff new out the box. If not you prolly have a problem with your box.

EDIT: I just seen your box is tuned to 45hz:eek: I would really suggest for you to tune to 34-35hz..

The new box is tuned to 35hz. I just dont seem to get the pressure I used to get on the lows. It doesnt sound like alot of bass. So you guys think it has to do with breaking them in?
