Thanks dude

Yeah, a freakin HUGE one that'll supply the 50+ amps you will likely need to run your amplifier of it, $$$$$$$$$$$$ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
oh there expensive? I did'nt know that:(

Its probably cheaper to buy a decent home amp(that will still hook up to your sub) than buying a 50amp powersupply/AC-DC converter.
x2

Last time I checked prices retail on an Astron or Phase III by Tenna power supply that would supply 50 amperes or better ran over $200.

A mite cheaper when ya got that hook up, though...

^^^^^ really?^^^^^ I'm looking for about 500 - 1k watts and so far no luck on ebay either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif( just traveling converters (like when you go to a foreign countries)

Are you aware of how much home amplifiers are?! If you are looking for a high power setup, it is quite a bit cheaper to run a $200-300 car amplifier and a $200 12v power supply that matches than a home plate amp that matches the former in output and quality.

I have several small converters, running from 1 amp to 8 amp. I wish I had an extremely low output car amp I could use for headphones.

If he's just trying to out-bass his neighbor he's not buying top-of-the-line stuff. A PE plate amp would do the trick.

semi true ^^^ I have a low powered technics amp (100 watts rms) with the tower speakers. This is an OLD set up. The 2 10's are not getting it done. (the 10's that came with the home audio set up) I'd like to use the amp to run seperate mids and tweets, but MORE power for the bass. (might use my apx 15 ported to 40hz inside to get there attention since asking them to turn it down does'nt seem to work)

Anyway, you think the plate amp is CHEAPER than the voltage converter OR vise versa?

duplex living SUCKS ..... if I was a prick I'd just go to my car and turn it up but then I'd be a nusance to my other neighbors who are cool... This is going to be a TARGETED bass attack //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If you're going to outdo, you might as well overdo. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
