now, i cant actually put anything in my car yetissed: because they decided to send me the wrong wiring harness even AFTER i explained to them that i needed a different one(yes, just tried it and it doesn't work, ****** *** ford)

And, the shitty sub box i bought from them(more than likely will make my own, but wanted something to look at while doing it!) is on backorder? i freakin called them, had a conversation with the guy, he said, if you switch to this box we will ship it--so i said yah, whatever sounds good--called today to say WTF IS MY BOX..."BACKORDER"! sweet customer service sonic!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

and now i'm waiting to run my wires because i bought the firewall screw thing and de-oxidizing spray today so it doesn't rust after i drill the hole...

all this stuff, and i cant do a **** thing with it!

Yeah having equipment sitting around sucks. Most of the stuff in my sig isn't installed yet because I have been too busy with school/work and have to get an alarm installed before I can install stereo and also have to have my wisdom teeth pulled so there goes another $500 deductible. and i'm still just sitting there...opening and closing my boxes...i could install my speakers, but i really dont want them connected to my stock radio...

i could run my power wire and RCA's, but i really dont want unconnected wires just sitting in my trunk...

to find the VW01 wiring harness...i wouldn't blame local stores for not having something like that...however it is probably worth a try now! im going to go crazy having all this shit just sit here...i think it is hardwire time!

thank you for the suggestion! went to MICKEY SHORR, they had 1...took me like an hour to wire it up--put screw caps on the speaker wires, and clamp caps on the power wires...well, WORKS GREAT! i dont know why people pay $$$ to have shit installed...the satisfaction of doing it right yourself is awesome!

tomorrow, i put the new speakers in!
