Whats happening to the subs?

Ill probably remove the speakers make sure nothing is touching. That is the last resort.

4 dual4 subs can be run at .5 or 2 ohms. check the wiring.

never heard an out of phase subwoofer before? Low volume sounds fine, crank it up and it sounds distorted.. but yeah I can see how this is the dumbest solution.

4 dual 4 ohm subs will yield a final 2 ohm load. Exactly what I'm running now. Check out http://www.jlaudio.com for their wiring diagrams. Excellent tutorials.
