Whats everyones opinions on Saabs??

Im looking to buy one and i test drove a 1995 Saab 900 SE Today its a Two Door Hatchback has a 2.0 4 Banger Turbo motor and a 5 speed manual and honestly i was suprised by how quick it was, i didnt expect much because it didnt feel fast off the line but once you get on it, it has some pretty big turbo lag but once it gets 3500+ RPMS and the boost kicks in its honestly fast, it actually put a smile on my face because i wasnt expecting it and are not used to turbo lag but it was actually a really fun car to drive and is suprisingly fast for what it is, turbo lag is also fun to toy around with just floor it and slowly watch the boost guage creep up until suddenly it spools up and off you are and it will actually squeal the tires in first gear once your already rolling like 15mph and the turbo spools up

they are kinda nice, but a pain in the ***. go for something else if you can.

In '92 I had an 88 9000turbo 5 door. It was pretty darn nice.

But when it died it was gone, way to expensive to fix.

absolutely love my 2005 linear turbo sports sedan. Manual and fast!! 10 airbags too so when you dump it you might walk away!
