whats difference between big3 and grounding kit

The vehicle specific grounding kit comes with 4 gauge and has 5 wires instead of just 3. I did the big 3 on my car with the left over kicker 0 gauge. My question is what are the other grounding points used in grounding kits that supposeldy increase hp and effiency. Are these kits basically just the big 3 plus extra marketing hype with a $90 price tag.

this one is specifically for my car but grounding kits are offered for most car as a electrical performance upgrade

those are usually for racecars that may have an extra 16V alt, 16v batt, and crap like that

I have seen people swear by them on 3si.org

I have no clue whether they work or not though, sorry.

A grounding kit does help with current draw but they were brought of to reduce hesitation on the motor through current lost with modern cars have current stabilizers to lessen hesitation so basically the big 3 helps just the charging system using big wire and a grounding kit provides a direct path back the big 3 helps with audio and ygr grounding my help depending on the car in both areas. hope this helps and this is what I have found on my 04 rx8

Yes and no, they don't make a night and day difference... but they work well for those who are not electrical savvy, since they come pre-assembled and directions with exact points to install to.
