whats difference between 10" and 12"

whats the difference going to be between a 10" sub and a 12" sub? assuming both subs are the same and same amount of power. obviously the 12" is going to have more surface area, but is that going to really affect anything?

There's also something with the response of the 10" over the 12"s generally they are quicker and make a tighter punch. But it may not always be true.

A larger subwoofer will move more air and be louder as a result. But there's so many other factors, most importantly box design, that will really determine the difference between the two.

Yay someone who actually knows something other than 12s are slower than 10s
