whats better?

i was lookin at gettin either a mtx 9500 or orion h2, 15 inch for either, ported box. i have a 81000d mtx to run either with! its going in a s10, if that matters! would there be something better for around that much money??

Keeping it in the family, I would get a 9500. Great SPL subs. But there are plenty of other options.

like ill lookin at about 300-400, i was just wondering what u guys thought?? lookin for spl and desent sq! the thing is i dont know much bout this amp! it says you have to put a 4 ohm load per channel....well its considered mono but looks like a 2 channel on the outside! so there for id have to go with 2 dual 2's...or 4 dual 4's?? or one dual four and hook one coil to each "channel" then it crosses it inside! get what im sayin or no???

also the LPF starts at 40 hz. ??? so probely sealed huh?

low pass filter starting at 40 is normal. does not mean you should have a sealed box at all...from what i hear 9500's love ported boxes. And i definately recommend a snailshell from nolteaudio.com if you have the money to shell out. Will make that one 15" sound like 2 wiht double the power. really i was lookin at getin a 15 but that would be tight!!! these guys on here got me leaning towards a re sx 15 now hahaha! but my amp runs @ 2 ohm but ive read up that u can run @1 ohm! cuz the sx is dual 2!!! whats better guys??? how much are sx's......i found a 9500 on ebay...haha for like 300??? just a lil thought! thanks for all the help!!

defiently do not buy a sx if your looking for a tight sound. pm me if your intrested in a h2 cheaper then that 9500

ok now im just gettin confused! i dont think i want the h2 anymore! im lookin to good spl with good sq. so maybe different size sub ex. 12 maybe idk help guys!
