This system is the one Im saving up for but Im just wondering if I could do better?

lil too much and NOT willing to spend more than that. I got a 01 Jeep Grand Cheokee Laredo and planning on building the ported box...with help.

Anything louder...cleaner...cheaper?

i wouldnt be surprised if "louder" is possible but the Q should sound clean while still being loud.. and you could probaly find a cheaper amp but sundowns are so sexy

hmm..if it was a budget i would do 2 mj18's but they only come in 4ohm single..and plus you want to know if you could get something that sounds better..

if you dont mind used systems then get shit used for sure. I know sundowns are real nice but they are also pricey.

For instance, i had a kx2500.1 running a hdc3 18 and that was the same price....

Also had an mmats d300hc and 2 15 FI Q's and that was cheaper.

u could get to soundsteam t4 15s about 400 on ebay.

Get a hifonics bx82006d for 300.

That would be 700$ and i would think, in a correct box, could def get louder than that 18q

Just hope the the 18" doesnt sound dirty etc... What other amp (thats not crappy) could I get for the FiQ 18" cuz the new sundown1500 is about $400???? The sub I WANT NEW but the amp...I could probably go used.

you could look into hifonics but i would assume (even if the newer models arent) that they are slightly over rated.. and buy the next model up from what you want

you could also look into some PA 3000d's or whatevr the model number is (someone correct me) granted it might not do the full 3000 watts or whatever its rated.. but it could probaly do 1500 lol
