whats better a 1000/1 and 2 12 w3's sealed

i have about a grand to spend, im lookin for mostly sql. had 2 type R's and wasnt 2 happy with them, will the w 3's be a big improvment then the type R's? does anyone have any other choices?

seriously i like rs over a w3 any day. now if you were talking a w6 or w7 then youd have a different story. Do you need subs and amp for 1000? also are you thinking 2 subs and if so what size? thanks

i was thinkin 2 w3's or 2 w6's. i was leanin on the w3's b-c there alot cheaper. well i can get the 1000/1, 2 w3's (12's), and 300/4 for $1,000 im tryin to run jl everythin on this one.
