whats an alarm system thats easy to install

Security systems in retail shops (except walmart, but why would buy one there) are 99% of the time priced with the install included. Knowing that, you can get a really, really good alarm for less than $300.

However, I'll warn you....... If you've never done an install on an alarm before, it's tough. They don't come with any support and if you buy one and try to do it yourself the warranty is usually void. My advice is have it done at a shop. Since you're in FW, go to a Car Toys. I've had really good experience with the guys at the Lewisville store.

The absolute cheapest route while still getting an actual alarm would be one of the all-in-one units like the Bulldog (i think it's called) unit that Pep Boys sells. Built-in shock sensor, comes with two remotes, and only requires two wires to be hooked up to get it installed.

By far it's not anywhere near the top of the list when it comes to auto security system quality but it's an uber-easy unit to install.

However, if you're budget is $300 (or close to it) getting a good alarm installed professionally (thereby retaining the warranty) shouldn't be too difficult to source out.

Asian Wolf makes good stuff, they wholesale in alarms plus they have Color LCD pagers. I recommened hte 8000RS series //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
