What's amplifier is the best combo of power and sound quality?

I would have agreed with you last year but this year something happened...one of the old engineers crawled out of the closet and slapped everybody around and said "Make it like we used to!"

At least with the amps....subs not so much.

Like I said My RF 1000.1bd puts out 1400 RMS at 1 ohm...and it has great SQ.

The 500-2 is one of the most powerful two channels you can buy....my old one was 750 RMS bridged at 4 ohms....what other amp for that price can do that?

as i said before not trying to make it into a debate or anything. i said MOST of their products are junk anymore. i realize like other brands they do have good stuff. personally i would never use it unless it was O/S

if thats true about one of the O/S guys coming back maybe they will bring the quality back a little.

i dont know what they sell for so i honestly couldnt say but im sure there are plenty out there that would match up or be better

You are comparing them based on dependability and asking if there is a defference?

I like Alpine, but JL is leaps and bounds beyond them. The build quality, sound quality, the power handling....everything about JL is way beyond alpine.

The W7 can get just as loud as the Type-R, and sound 1 million times better. JL's amps dominate alpine...trust me dude, I dont buy JL, but JL isnt a brand you buy for the name like mainstream audio...JL is expensive because it isnt built cheap and crappy.

And for the record Ill take a sundown over JL when you cinsider the fact that, you get a little less, but pay a lot less.
