What's amplifier is the best combo of power and sound quality?

Right now I'm shopping/researching for an amp to run my subwoofers. I have three JL audio 12W3v2's they are dual 2 ohms. I can wire them to 1.3 or 3 ohms. I'm looking for an amp that puts out a lot of power, between 800-1000 watts. But I really don' t want to sacrifice sound quality. My budget is between $500 an d $1000. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance for any and all help provided.

both of the above are awesome amps, the Sundown can be had for way less than the JL, and Sundowns Customer service is second to none!

its true JL has insane prices

i have to admit though this is the first time ive run anything JL and i am VERY impressed. its worth the $ of course if it was cheaper it would be even better.

they are just one of those companies who are able to ask the prices and will always be able to get them from someone.

all of alpines equipment is about 2/3 of the price of JL equipment. I wonder if there is even a difference between the two? I think alpine is just as dependable since iv'e owned jl and alpine subs. They both can take a beating.

sundown is a newer company you will hear a ton about on here.

because i didn't buy this car. Also, i'm not one who wants to pay payments on a car. With gas prices and shit, im not gonna waste my money.
