whats a good smaller tweeter ?

?

why would i run that ???

its for my truck and im trying to go stealth on this install. so want something small i can integrate it better then what i have.

i would not have room for that.

thanks for helping..

like something like these..

Krome NEO30T Super Tweeters

size wise....

You are bouncing all over from large 4" bullet tweeters to small dome. HUGE difference.

If you want the output of 8 tweeters in just two, you will need a horn. If you want much less highs, then a small dome can work.

How about pics of where these are going and a list to what you have to run them and pair them with.

Polk audio db tweeters. There 1" little dome tweeters that get hella loud and have no problem keeping up with 157db bass. Everyone that sits in my truck says finally a vehicle where I can hear the words clear full tilt. Check them out.

Have you thought of looking at some Titanium tweeters rather than super tweets? I have a pair of older Kicker KS 25 tweets, and they get loud and crisp as hell.Been some really long lasting tweets as well. They do very well in A pillars/or mounted at chest height in the doors )ear peircing when need be..Been some my favorite tweets up to date, other than my CDTs soft domes

i have not..

as thats why im asking.

yes i have 8 tweeters, and 2 are on my a-piller panels. the other 2 are were my 4x6 speakers were. i made a custom mount.

and im not saying i want to stick with 1 per side.

if i had to do 2 per side im fine with that.

all im trying to do is 2 things..

1- go more of a stealth setup ( with my 3-way upfront ) dont care about subs as there not much i can do about them...

2- get a better sounding tweeter. more at sound quality.

my setup sounds good, but im just looking for better.

and this is the planing stage, i dont have any money right now to buy anything.

1-2 of your SQ tweeters per A pillar and learn how to use your 80prs....they can sound very good when tuned properly
that would not matter.. i have set up the 80prs.

they do sound better then before.

removing 4 will give me a little less output ( loud ) not sound better.

Ive ran these tweets for a very long time, and have come back to them for a reason..They get very loud, and they sound very good to my ears.Ive used a set in my Acura Integra(93) in the past since sold the car,and were some excellent tweets for that install. In my truck Ive tried several tweets, some lasted some notso good.CDT,Polks, Alpines,MTX,SoundSpeak,Massive,Viftas,Squbeds,RF,JLs,ect..The CDT DRT 25s do fine but a bit mellow for my liking, but my second favorites...But the Kicker KS25s just seem to bring me back towhat Ive searched for in the Highs range, and have outlasted all the others with exception of the CDT tweets that take a daily beating in my CRV on an old Crossfire TEK 100.2. I dont run an 80 prs, but I do run a preamp EQ in all my vehicles,as my truck ,in which allows me to clean up/dial/tune the tweets as well as the rest of my speakers towards each song that makes it possible for me to crank it u as much as possible and to get towards as clean as I can.Your HU should be able to do that for you of course. To get rid of the Hiss that most tweets generate when not tuned or the ability to with some type of EQing/ect.Two sets in the doors would be loud as hell.I have the 3 way upstage CDT EuroSport Xovers(passive) and used them on that, and were not as loud as running a dedicated amp with built in xover and were loud as hell along with running my Braxial setup, and another M6 in the doors. All kept up with my 4 xfl 12s to a certain extent/full tilt. But they do keep up and very well at that. Some of the best tweets Ive ever owned for being loud and can get crisp when tuned in as well. They are surface mount, mine did not come with angle mounting hardware, but location is the key as with all speakers, and they get down when I need/want those highs screaming.I think HalfPriceCar Audio.com has them with free shipping for about $78 bucks for a pair.If running them passive with the xovers provided..keep them in a spot to stay cool, like under the dash works best.or under the seats

As stated...everyone has a different ear to what they like/expect for theyre music verse of others..What sounds good to you may sound like azz to others? I guess, Im not a soft dome tweeter kind of listener or a super tweet in your face type either, but I seem to get the best of both worlds from my experiencing with a Titanium tweeter as well as the ability to fine tune with the preamp eq for my liking,of whatever I choose to listen to.After all the tweets Ive been through..the Kicker KS25s hit home for me..and the CDT DRT 25s for a more mellow,as well as the ease of placement. The Vifta25 tweet are really nice tweets, but man do they take up some space..Excellent SQ tweets though if you dont mind them in pods or exposed without protection in the doors

I had some in my truck. They were really loud for how small they were.
