whats a good point and shoot camera?

My Canon PowerShot SD790 took a dump on me (quit recognizing my memory cards in) so im in the market for a new one. Im looking in the

large screen

not cheap looking

at least 10mp

decent zoom

not big and bulky

my wife has a sony point and shoot, its works fine for her but im not sure how i feel about having to use the sony memory stick thing. Anyone have any insight about this?
