best sounding sub for under $150 is the Dayton HO. i doubt you'll find anything that sounds better for the same price.

For the price of type r's these days your not gonna find a better sub I see em on ebay for 90 shipped 160 for a pair atleast once a week if you can find a tc9 based sub for cheap grab it I got one for 125 shipped off the classifieds and I havnt found a better sub for that price yet... my secound setup was 2 12" type rs in a shitty prefab with 700 watts a piece and they slammed if you got the room id get 2 of them for 160...sry bout my typin im on my phone and don't really care about grammer lol

TC OEM series, TC DB series, AE AV series all HUGE "bang for your buck" subs, but good luck finding those
