15L7 for 228.50 new

2400d orion for 269.99 new

but i was wondering about a better different amp what would be better for this sub

i will probably be getting the 2ohms version since this will be a 1 sub set up

Dude, That Orion is a nice amp. Set the gain properly and put that L7 in a good ported box. And it will slam more than you think.

ok how big of a vented box do i need?

does tuning around 35hz still lets it hammer hard and will sound fairly descent at the same tim

Id say 3.5-4 cubes at 33 hz. Maybe a little bigger if you can fit it.
