first off if this was me, i would sell my intrepid and current stereo stuff. i would end up between a total of 7-8000 dollars. i would get a crappy crx, soundeaden it somehow. get a 18 MT or a couple 15A's and also get a couple db1800T tsunamis. i would get a alpine HU and a couple koda components. i would also get a avionixx 400.4. sound good? oh yeah, need a nice security system too. some knuconcepz wiring. some extra batts and a HUGE alt.

I guess you could say that, just think about this.....if you think your stuff is the best, you gotta know there is something better out there, maybe it's not out for retail yet, but you can never have the best in a manner of speaking.

If you shop around you can get a $5,000 system for about half the price, if you compare it with prices in your local shops. Trust me a $5,000 system is gonna be loud and unless your going to compete, there really is no point in spending that much. Btw, installed my 3-12" RE SE's yesterday and they are awesome. I decided to get the SE's instead of the ED K's, b/c the K's were on back order and they had no idea when they would be able to ship them out. The SE's are a little more, but I'm happy as hell.

good choice. the new Se's are supose to beat them in not only SPL (of course) but SQ as well. Ur shit must hit so hard. what amp u have pushing them? how much powwer is each one getting? they sealed or Ported? good stuff

I'm running them off the MMATS D300HC wired to 2.67 ohms, so should be around 400 wrms or so, somewhere in that area at least. I'm still breaking them in, but I turned it up a little just to see what those puppies could do, and I had to turn it back down, my ears were killing me. Definitely deep bass, I haven't run across a sub yet that can really push out some real deep bass. I have a 2001 Daewoo Lanos Hatchback, and every window in the car flexes noticeably except the windshield. Wait till I fine tune it and turn the gain up a little, it's only about 1/4 of the way or less now, plus I haven't installed my 200 amp alt yet.
