Ummm...call the cops...start by charging him with animal cruelty..then when that goes through..sue his *** for emotional distress, loss, etc.

I would think he would have a reason to shoot the cat. not juust because he doesnt like them. I personally dont liek peoples outside cats, they climb on my car, scratch the hell out of it and leave dirty pawprints and shit all over it. I feel that if it stayed on your property and he shot it I shoot a pellet at his ***, if it were on his property you cant really do much about it.

Not a cat fan either and really there are literally hundereds of strays around. I am sure you will be able to find another one fairly simple, however I also know what it is like to have something on the pet side die. They are part of your family and you grow with it. So matter if it is a dog, cat, turtle, whatever, most people grow attached to them. So sorry on your loss. I really think you should poor some suger in his gas tank or something and then go get a bigger cat like a lion. We had a cat that we had found right after he was born. I guess the mother had abandoned him after he was born. (his eyes were not even open yet)
But we had bottle fed him til he was old enough to eat on his own. We had him for about 5 years. The one day he went missing. We talked to all the neighbors except for the one that does not like cats. All of the other neighbors had said that he had shot him and that they saw him do it.

What would you do if someone did that to your cat that you had raised since he was born?

I don't feel that ANYTHING gives ANYONE the right to take the life of someone's pet. Whether it was on his property or not doesn't give him the right. You have to be one extreme lowlife cocksucker to be able to kill a defenseless animal like that. I would definitely be calling the cops and try to sue his ***. If that doesn't work, fuck his car up.

To the thread starter: Why didn't you just make him/her an INSIDE cat?? I know its hind sight now but if you ever get another cat make sure you keep it inside at ALL TIMES. Especially when there are that many low lifes in this world.
