im going to be doing a install for a customer. hes wanting me to rip out everything inside of a 94 s-10 blazer. apply some kind of sound deading. install a head unit, 3 sets of componets, zapco eq, install all wiring including power cable to the mamphis 4k amp. build a enclosure for 2 18" subs or 4 15" sub (if theres enough room) the enclosure will be a glossy black finish. also installing a 200 amp alt and a couple xtra batteries. how much should i charge for all this?

That's a shit-ton of work.

I don't think I'd take on a task like that for someone else, myself. But if so, I'd have to set aside at least a week or more to pull it off, full-time, and it'd be at least $35/hr. Maybe more.

Don't make the mistakes I have in the past.

Let him know how long it's gonna take and overestimate that date.

That way when it's done sooner he'll be happy.

Let him know how big of a job it is and explain exactly what you need to do.

Do not let him be there when you are working on it. That bugs the crap out of me, cause they ask about every little thing and sit there and BS with you all day. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif
