Best unit hands down is the new pioneer DEH-P9400BH, i challenge anyone to check the specs. Its offers more then any other unit for 200bucks, there 180 on ebay right now

Ive been researching HUs for the past 6months for my upgrade lol other then that the 80prs are the best but there 350+. If you want to go a lil cheaper the 7400 by pioneer is good, also any JVC arsenal series is great

Yea im going to pick one up soon, my alpines starting to die after 6 texas summers. Had to rig a wire from rca to case cuz something blew and i got static. ONly a matter of time now

Yeah, do it up. Bluetooth is awesome, I can control spotify from my phone wirelessly from the unit. Also, I can have my iphone and ipod plugged in, both charging.

Buying a 75$ HU worries me a bit... However on paper it looks solid.

The 2.5v pre-amp voltage vs the 4v on the other units wont make a big difference?

I wouldnt say so honestly, i have 2v outs on my current alpine and they work fine for me. But you shouldnt worrie JVC makes great stuff, they have never been expensive

Depends some amps specifically Old school ones need high voltage. Personally I wouldn't want to upgrade to an aftermarket head unit and get 1v higher voltage than my stock stereo. I recommend the higher voltage head units because it makes the gain setting much lower hence less distortion percentage. Do what you want.
