I have an option of either getting 2 12' kicker comp vr's or 2 12' jl w3's which ones would u choose

I would probably choose the Comp Vr's...I am not a very big W3 fan. Try listening to both, see which impresses you more. Then go from there.

I would choose the JL w3's I am a big fan of those subs. though you can get the kickers much cheaper.

It all depends on what you like....if you're an audiophile/SQ junkie, then I'd probably agree, but if you're an SPL freak, the W3 would be one of the worst choices.

In case you still havent made up your mind, I aggree with the above posts:

JL AUdio 12w3v2 for SQ, and Kicker COmp for SPL

MY OPINION: JL, becasue 2 - 12"s should still have the ability to hit, plus you already know the SQ is there. Also rememeber the right amp, enclosure, and install will make a BIG difference.
