what would sound best????

just got my 2 cerwin vega, vega series 12's, but im not sure on what would sound better, point the subs down toward the floor, back toward the wall, or forward towards the seats. the box is going to be 2 cubic foot per speaker with 4" ports.

any suggestions would be appreciated..

if u got the room fire the speakers and ports towards the back with at least a 4" gap between the box and rear wall

would that be better, and would I need to angle them up a little or just face them directly toward the back wall, thanks

Also, should I put the ports up high, or low, in the middle or in the corners of the box ..

straight back you will get a little more response using part of your cabin as the loading board i have a sidekick with 2 15's fireing down (its a rag top so if i fired it backwards it would hit the soft top ) and it does pretty good with test tones it isnt done yet but it works very well

o0o misread that same side as woofer 2 inches at least from the outer paret of woofer
