What would be louder? And Cleaner SQ?

Hey guys, just asking this as i have no experience with the W7 Woofer. and my question is about it.

I currently have a Alpine 1507, 900wrms x1 at 4ohm.

I am running 2 12w3's (old school) sealed at 2.2cubs together.

There good. loud, great sq, i love em.

But i feel like a change......

How would a Single 10w7 in a HO box from JL sound compared to 2 12w3's?

big difference? louder? better? just looking for ppl that have maybe used both.

Honestly, as good as the W7 is at output, I doubt a single 10 would keep up with your pair of W3 12's. But who knows.

if the 10w7 is in the HO box and the 12's are sealed, the w7 would be louder, but not by a huge margin. What vehicle would this setup be in

Get the 10W7, the old school W3s don't have even close to the amount of LFE (IMO)...

here in town just the 10" is 1000$ canadian. i can't even imagin the price of the box...
