What would be a better option?

I was considering buying 2 12" square kicker solo's, 2ohm, dual voice coil for around $300. shipped.

Would there be better options if I were to go with Fi audio ro someone else ?

what would you compare to the kickers that may be cheaper but equally "effective" or better ?

I want something that knocks hard but is pretty clear and doens't give off "wobbly bass" liek my old subs did. I am more concerned with how hard it hits basically though. Im just running em through a rockford fosgate 1000w amp with 2 pioneer 6x9s and a couple 5 1/2s up front

I was thinking 2 12"s btu I dunno, maybe 1 15" or 18" as long as it is in the same price range of about $300-$400. max.

I would get two 12" type-r's, you would still have about 100$ to work with and they will be PLENTY loud off 500 rms each

I have the entire back of my extended cab S10. I have plenty of MDF to make an enclosure as well.

Honestly even with 500 watts to each, 2 type-r's will be extremely loud, especially if u have room for the right sized / tuned box
