hows it going

i searched and didnt exactly find what i needed.

im looking for some help as to how much of what wire to buy and what fuses and distribution blocks and stuff.

here will be my set up when everything is purchased (already have some)

front- ID CTX 6.5 components

back- ID CTX 6.5 co-ax

subs- 2 12" stereo integrity BM's

H/U- newer version of Pioneer 7800

Amp- 4 chanel (undecided)

Amp- mono (also, undecided)

but i will be putting the front and back speakers in before i have an amp for them, so they will be running off the h/u power until i throw the 4 ch. in there.

so my question is can yall help me by telling me how much of what gauge wire and fuses i need? and anything else i need to wire them up?

the truck is a 04 crew cab short bed chevy silverado with factory bose crap (cant wait till its out)

thanks

mitchell

Well if you plan on using the HU to power the speakers, just stick with the factory wire until you get an amp. I doubt the HU can push more power than the factory wire can handle.

alright that sounds good.

but what about the new speaker wire, 14 gauge?

and subs and power to the amps?

if yall could tell me what size wire to buy for each thing then i could measure and figure out how much.

like what wire would i need to go from the mono amp to the subs? then i could just figure out how much i need..

also fuses and stuff haha

thanks yall

use the stock wiring until you get your shit together. Go no less than 16 when you do for the speakers. WHen you decido on which amps, the 4ch more than likely will need 4ga and the mono will need 1/0 or 4 as well.

use 14g on the speaker wire, you will just have to measure how much itwill take to make all your runs. its not that hard you can do it.

can't tell you fuses until we know amps.

for amps

the mono will be ~1000wrms at one ohm

the 4 ch will be ~ 500wrms

that help for fuses?

when you say the sub wires do you mean the wires from the amp to the subs?

thanks

mitchell
