I'm gettin a Kicker zx2500.1 amp and i got 2x 12"L5's rite now lol.. ne way im gona up grade and i was wondering what sub(s) i should get here is what im thinkin about.

A 18" Fi BTL (2000 watts rms)

2x 15" Memphis mojos (1000 watts rms each)

or

2x 15" Kicker L7's (1000 watts rms each)

The L7s have the most cone area out of those choices but thats not the only thing that will determine which will get louder...

more power?? the rms is 1000 and i know they can handle more but idk im just scared lol cuz gettin this setup is gonna wipe out my bank acct cuz im makin some major purchases so i dont want to blow ne thing lol i want this shlt to be safe but also hit hard

Do you you have an suv? And if those L5's are dual 4's you could grab 2 more L5's and have 4 all together. Thatd be a decent amount of cone area. Just makin a suggestion.

mojos...trust me you won't blow shit if you keep the signal clean. and they will be LOUUDDD off that amp....get another zx and give each 2500 watts and it will be plain nuts.

I've seen mojos easily take double their rms, although I'm only feeding mine about 1300 rms.

id go with the L7's. if i hadnt already paid for my two 10" eclipse subs and had the box built, this guy at the audio shop was selling his system. he had two 12" 03 L5's, each powered by a directed audio 600d. selling it all for 600. it was insanely loud. ive never heard anything other than l5's so im sure the l7 would dominate it, not only that.. the 15's will have more cone area. thats what i would do

i have been thinkin about doin the 4 L5's also and its a 4runner that this shit will be goin into .. untill then im gonna wire my l5's to 4ohm and play around there till i get that 4runner
