FI SSD 12" w/2ft^3 vs 15" 2.5ft^3 (both ported)

Hi, I have a question regarding space requirements on a SSD 12 vs 15:

12" in a ported enclosure @ 33hz ~ 1.9 ft^3 after displacement or:

15" in a ported enclosure @ 33hz ~ 2.5ft^3 after displacement.

I know the 15" is in less than recommended enclosure but will it still sound alright? This is going in a daily driver and i probably want a little bit more spl but still sound pretty good. I'm willing to sacrifice a little bit of sound quality. its for music (aka not a burping machine), so i still want it to sound alright.

basically i would like to know if the 15" will still sound alright (im assuming it will get louder) in the space i have available for it vs the 12"

The 12 will do in the 1.9, but I wouldnt stick the 15 in that... too small. The 15 will peak up quite a ways higher that tuning.... It will be louder, but wont play as deep for the same tuning as the 12".
