SoundStream SPLX power handling?

Does anyone have any exerience with these drivers as far as power handling goes? This will be a daily driver setup. They are rated at 1,000 RMS, but I'm pretty sure they can handle quite a bit more than that. I'm about to throw 1500 on each of them via two EarthQuake PHD5000W's. What ya think? Looks like it took 2600 with one coil not functioning for burps. It also says 1200 for the FR graph with 3 of 4 of the coils working.

SPLX's are really beefy subs. They're pretty well built and is way underated. A buddy of mine is using 4 of them powered by a SoundStream XXX-10,000D...they sound very nice.

SPLX's are really beefy subs. They're pretty well built and is way underated. A buddy of mine is using 4 of them powered by a SoundStream XXX-10,000D...they sound very nice.
