What will either do for me?

Alright, currently I have an RE SE 15", and am powering it with a PA300d amp.

The amp is rated at 1200w @ 2ohms.. Actual wattage is most likely considerably less.

So, I am thinking of either buying another 15" SE or buying a zx1000.1 for 200$..

There is also an option for a new HU.. I have a Sony, and it's pretty decent, but I know that I could get better for around 150-200$.. But I think my amp is worse in comparison.

Which would you chose, or which would make the biggest impact?

ah that sucks. the a3000db is the shizNYTE for the price. IMO you should find one of those for 200-250, buy another SE, and get the 2kw for ur setup....alot of times you'll spend money with minimal increase in output...but my suggestion is going to be the best bang for the buck......

Yea, but it's not going to give you a large increase in output. I have had three amps on my setup in the past month rated at 100rms, 250rms, and 1200rms and going from the 100rms amp to the 250rms amp was a very noticeable increase. Going from the 250rms to the 1200 was also noticeable but the difference wasn't that much. Going from 1000rms to 1200rms is not going to be noticeable. And thats assuming you're only getting 1000 right now and some how are going to be getting 1200 later.

I would experiment with enclosures before buying a new sub and I would buy a new sub before buying a new amp for the same sub. That's just me though...

Buy the kicker amp- sell your old amp and HU and get a new HU - should make lots of difference - do you have highs on an amp as well?
