what will be louder

ya i dunno what to get, i just know i cant use a whole lot of room.. the depth is what im worred about.. i didnt measure yet but im guessin not any more then 12 inches deep with box.. length shouldnt be a problem, almost the length of the trunk but it will be closest to teh rear seats so a little room where the struts are is needed. and height may be a little problem i will have to measure. my type x is in the box that the 12 inch w7 reccomends from jls site, built exactly to spec. and i know for sure it defaintly isnt fittin there. the reason for little room is because of a air tank and compressors in the trunk for my air bags. i have a jl 1000/1 amp but i figured ill have to get something smaller maybe dependin on the setup.

please excuse me for my horrible drawing lol..

as for what size of subs in the box i dunno what all will fit.. but i dont want to lose much performace compared to my current system which is a alpine type x with a jl 1000/1.

im not sure weither i will go sealed or ported, i dont even know what i have to work with i dont know much about the numbers or vocabulary of a system lol sorry, i just know how the buy the stuff and build the box and set everything up.

i may be able to gain another inch - inch and a half on the top and bottem depths if i can try to redo my trunk floor and move the tank a little bit if this helps or gives me better options

here is a image if the trunk from the outside lookin in.. as you can see the box will have to be behind the tank, which i have measured and is in that wonderful image i made in paint.. likei said i can try to see what i can do and move the tank foward . i may have to make a new floor for the trunk with new holes and door for my air valves.

im not sure , i wanted a clean look when you opend my trunk and i have a door there if you look in the pic to access my valves, i would have to redo my trunk setup and make a new floor.

i dont have enough room on the other side of the tank? (closest to the rear seats) i figured i could get something with the dimensions i gave you which i sent to your email

its possible, i cant see that great. you could possibly to a box behing there, but count on subs taking atleast 5" of mounting diameter, plus mdf (another 1.5") so youd have to have atleast 6.5 - 7" of space behing the tank.

did you get that drawing i sent to your email? i have 13 inches behind the tank of depth on the bottem and around 9 on the top so the front of the box would be slanted
