What will be a good amp??

I want to add an amplifier to my speakers, but i have no idea what to get...

Right now i have these speakers in the front:

please include a budget.. I mean you could spend a huge range of money depending on brand and quality.

GF has the db650's front/back in her car running off a Profile AP1040 and it pushes them no problem.

I personally don't care for the sound of the Polk's, but others really like them. Amping them was 10x better than off the HU though.

I would stick with the Polk's

The Profile amp could be the reason the Polks don't sound as good. Get a higher quality amp and it would probably clean them up. I like profile for a budget sub amp but not for highs. Lots of them end up having interferance on the output as they are very sensitive amps.

try an Alpine amp. they are efficient not to mention powerfull and they sound great.
