What voice coil ohms should I get?

yea if u get 2 2ohm subs u have to have a mono amp that can be stable at .5 ohms... and if u get 4 ohm subs u can just get a mono 1 ohm amp witch are more common and almost always less expensive..... if neither of those comments tell yah to get 4 ohmers.... its possible (if u cant get a .5 ohm amp that u will have to power the subs seperatly each with their own amp.... 4 ohmer FTW

not true. you can wire the dual two ohm subs in series to get two 4 ohm loads. put those in parallel and whamo you get 2 ohms. and that amp puts out constant power from 1-4 ohms so that would work just fine.

didnt even think about that.... man i just got owned lol

yea defenately get the d4 models.... wire them to 2 ohm then wire them to get a 4 ohm load........ keep that amp runnin cooler and pulling less current
Series the coils to get an 8 ohm load per sub then parallel the two to get 4 ohms final. It will sound better with the individual subs wired in parallel.

The difference between 2 and 4 ohms won't be that significant so if you can get a better deal on the 2 ohm version go for it.
