I didn't see that if it was copper or aluminum.

And it's not the voltage that counts, since we wont even run much over 16volts, it's the amperage and if it's aluminum it cant take as much as copper...

Anyways, with such low prices I would guess that it is aluminum, if it is indeed copper I'd be surprized.

Thats about the same price that i paid for my 1/0 at Napa. Same thing, its not very flexible at all but it works fine, and its copper.

the 2/0 is pretty flexible just look at the pics and 1/0 is alot smaller i have that to but its the size of 4gauge singer wire

I'd be shocked if it's copper.

Market price for copper right now is a little over $3/lb.

4/0 weighs about .6lb/ft - so for material alone it's $1.80/ft plus who knows how much for processing/shipping/retail markup...

Doesn't add up.

Aluminum's about $0.50/lb which makes more sense to me.

Yea it is copper, as per the PDF from the manufacturer's website.

The wire is stranded 24awg wire.

1/0: 275 strands

2/0: 325 strands

4/0: 550 strands

Just from the specs its not going to be anywhere near the flexibility of Knu or kicker wire, but for this price and the pic above... you can't really go wrong.
