what truck box should i go with?

i just bought a pair of Interfire IFB-10D and a 1100W amp, i have a regular cab F-150, should i go with the cheep seperate boxes or spend more money and get a custom made box?? and should i get a sealed or ported? by the way i am a huge noob at all this car audio stuff!! haha

new body style f-150?

if the answer is yes, port it, if its an older body style then stick with sealed.

if you are able to go ported (see sentence above), definitly custom made //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . if you are restricted by size constraints, then just get a good pre-fab, but make sure its not too small!

alright well it's an older body style, '85 infact... and the seat is about stuck where it is at. haha but what do you think about 2 seperate truck boxes and mounting them about a foot apart and put the amp in the middle??

without knowing how much space you have behind your seats, im going to assume that it is little... im going with sealed.

Prefab Sealed should work good enough.
