What tpe of sealent for box?

Okay so I have recently built a box and just wondering what options I have for sealing the box up. If you guys could be very specific and not just say silicone, maybe name the brand and type, I know there are a million different types of silicone out there so just "silicone" doesn't help.

I have heard that the silicone can eat away at the subs, is there any other option?

(and yes I know you supposed to wait 24 hrs but jw if there are more options)

Latex caulk.

Supposedly silicone releases vapors when it dries that can eat away the surrounds of speakers.

silicone is fine as long as u give it ample time to air out...

Nothing will mess up your subs.

I just use Liquid Nails. The one in the blue tube.

No need to use anything if you used a proper amount of adhesive/glue when building the box. I'll still do it for the hell of it, with the glue I'm using, but there's really no need to.

Wood glue or if you're really worried and want to get extreme, fiberglass resin.

I've always used the PL200 construction adhesive from Home Depot. About $3 for a tube and it works great.

Can't stand the smell of silicone, absolutely awfull stuff to work with!

Clean joints with wood glue and a bead of liquid nails to seal hasnt failed me yet

i just make sure the wood glue is in a solid bead an the clue squishing out from the screws helps also
