What to pair with boston acoustic sr50's?

I know thats why I brush most of it off lol

I learned my lesson and quit pushing stuff I sell

in fact i rarely sell to anyone now... and if I do want to i was told by goob when he lifted my 3 month ban ( after only 3 weeks of back and forth emails by 1 of the forum sponsors -- my company lol ) to keep it to PM's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I am looking for an amp to power a pair of boston acoustic sr50's and sr65's. I am trying to decide between 2. One is the boston acoustic gt475, the other is the 16-SC4.55 - Memphis 4 Channel 450 Watt Amplifier. The memphis has 55wats per channel at 4 ohms. The Boston has 75 watts per channel so id probably be getting a little more out of the Boston. What would you guys recommend?

If you have the money to buy Boston equipment, you might as well take a look at ZED, Audison, Hertz and Arc Audio before actually buying anything.
I would do Boston so everything matches.
However I haven't seen or used either amp so can't give a real answer other than matching haha
What kind of budget are you working with?
You guys realize this is his 3rd thread on the same topic in 12 hrs?

Everyone told him what they thought & when they don't agree with him he makes a new thread.

I offered him a bnib ZED Crunch amp dirt cheap & linked several other amps that would work.

Nope, I didn't realize he's one of those "tell me what I want to hear" types.

Ya well the thing about that is I cant understand how it would be better to get a 2 channel amp and just hook the fronts up to it instead of getting a 4 channel and hooking the rears up as well for optimum sound. Doesnt make sense to me to have 14 watts rms in the back and 75 in the front..

Your front stage (the speakers in the front of your car) are infinitely more important than rear fill (the speakers in the back of your car). It's as simple as that.

If you'd care to look around a bit in the builds section, you may realize that 90% of the people out there emphasize their front speakers. It's car audio 099...

do you ride in the back of your car all the time? if so then yes, drop yo money all in the back.

but seriously, the front is where its at.

running your front components off the ZED Crunch & removing the rears would be louder & have much, much better SQ than running components in the front & coaxials in the rear off a small 4-channel Boston, Memphis, Mb Quart, etc amplifier

alright if i did that though would it sound sub par to people sitting in the rear, or would the fronts be enough to fill the whole car? The reason I ask is because right now with my stock speakers when people are in the back they often complain they cant hear anything over the sub while people in the front can hear the vocals and and everything beautifully.
