Yes. It can get louder. If you install the W3's very poorly. And build an SPL box for the DD.

But in a simple daily setup no.

but the JL's will yield better SQ

as in for wich would win in a SPL comp

depends on the enclosure, car, etc..

also u are comparing (2) 15's to (1) 12

Still a no. The 9500 is a great SPL sub. But having more output than two 15" W3's is a long shot in a daily install.
