Rockfords are God.
I have a 83 320i and in the rear dash there are a pair of 4x6s and i dont like that much so i am going to glass in a 8in rf p2 for mid bass and a pair of speakers, i just dont know what size of speakers to do, all i know as they will bee boston acoustics. Just looking for ideas on what size to do and how to lay it all out?

--thanks

most people will tell you not to put anything in the rear, as it will confuse the front stage.

If you can't fit a better midbass driver in your doors, I'd suggest trying to make custom door pods.

Another option would be getting a seal box for your sub so it plays more midbass, then leave the rear deck empty to let the sound into the cabin.

Your last choice should be putting midbass drivers in the rear deck. You'll need to calculate phases and angles to prevent cancellation...its more trouble than its worth, really.

To top it all off, you'll need some time alignment adjustments. You'lll be better off just upgrading your component's midbass driver. I hear good things about SEAS and Mach5
