What to choose out of these subs

So seeing that my 2 AA Havocs arent what i need (one being busted) im on the hunt for 2 new subs. They have to be 12 inch in a sealed box that goes under my back seat. which will be ran by a 2500 watt sundown amp.

The box has roughly 1.8 cu ft of airspace. Ive been looking at these 3 options.

2 DC Level 3

2 FI SSD (with upgraded options)

2 Kicker CVX

My main goal is spl, before with 2 kicker cvr it was pretty loud as far as bass i know it probably wasnt great for music but i want to be louder then before. I also can get any of these 3 for the same price basically so id like to stay in that ballpark price range, so please help me out.

the kickers in there cause i can get it way cheaper then the rest and i had kickers before the AA and had better success, since im new to audio it frustrated me to spend about 2 grand on my setup to have it sound like **** so kickers there because i never had a problem with them. But really i would rather have ssd's or the dc's i just wanna make sure theyll work for me.

that amp will be 2 much for all those subs 2500rms, you have a saz-1500, id get 2 ssa icons if i was you

Something is definitely wrong if your havocs are sounding like shit. It might be that you are choking the hell out of them with that box, but if it's all you can fit then so be it. I would personally remove the entire back seat and build an appropriate size box before I would switch it up. A recone and some poly fill is a lot cheaper than new subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

You should be pissed, you f-d up somewhere. for $2000 you could have built a competition level SQ system w/ 3way fronts, rears and center channel, nice powerful amps, a $800 auto-tune DSP, sound deadning and be loud as f--k, the works! I don't consider a system to be just subs and an amp. that's just one small part of it.

you should stop spending money and start reading tutorials over at diyma before you blow any more money. or by some cheap sh-- and start experimenting for yourself if you cant stand reading.

your an idiot. have you ever looked at the top of the line SQ equipment?

Thanks for the help guys, im still deciding between the ssd and dc lvl 3's. As far as the AA Havocs i dont really think im strangling them for air in the box. The one is obviously busted, maybe im one of the unlucky ones that just recived it busted from the factory, who knows. After removing the one and just setting up the one sub to a 1 ohm load and setting the gain back on the amp it sounds good even though theres a big hole where the other sub should be. Since i cant get Ascendant Audio to e-mail me back or answer my calls, i have no other choice but to cut my losses with them and buy new subs preferably from a company that will answer my questions and concerns in a timely manner.

As far as the comment about me just spending money to spend it is false. I read and read on all the car audio forums and that is how i stumbled upon sundown. Before these sites i only knew the mainstream companies, yes i ran kicker and dont have any complaints about it but i got my subs and amp all brand new for maybe 250 dollars tops. But yes i read up on sundown for days and finally when they announced the pre-order on the saz-2500 i pulled the trigger. After that i read and read and at first was going to go with FI but opted for ascendant audio because the havocs matched up with my amp and i only heard great things about their products. I use my truck on a daily basis to haul things, people, etc so building a wall or having a huge box occupying my back seat is out of the question.

Im usiing what i have and that is a box for 2 12's whciih will go under my back seat, so yes im still on the hunt for subs and yes i agree subs and amp are only a small part but i also already have components in the front and a nice alpine h/u with eq so no i didnt just pull the trigger as soon as i found something that seemed like since it cost a lot it would be good, i had good knowledge of what i was buying and what was out there. But once again thanks to the guys who have given me some options if anyone else has anything please let me know.

I don't think you can go wrong with the dc or the fi. They are both good subs. I personally like the sound of the dc better but if you have all the options on the ssd I think you will be better off power handling wise. If it were my choice I would probably go with the higher power handling given the price is approximately the same. I prefer the sound of the dc but it isn't so much better that I would be willing to give up a good chunk of thermal power handling.
