what to carpet?

SO im building a box for my buddy and he wants it carpeted. only thing is i dont know what to wrap it in. he is short on cash and really doesnt want to buy it online. where would be a good place to get some fabric or something. lastly what pattern, style, color etc, should i wrap it in? his car is white, with dark grey seats. thx

Pep Boys has automotive carpet 5' x 10' and it's relatively cheap. Whatever you get, make sure it doesn't have a thick backing. Apply it with 3M super 77 or higher. Just make sure you coat the edges well. Spray it on the wood and carpet, then let it tack up before you apply.

i thought about using the astro turf from lowes once its sold like carpet that would make an interesting box bright green ftw
