What to buy next

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum but not new to tinkering with car audio. I recently purchased a 95 Honda civic ex that I commute to and from work with. The only problem with the vehicle was that 1 speaker worked out of the four I had, even the tweeters were blown. Not only.was I lacking in the speaker department, but it had a no brand cd player in it too. Now im not going to invest thousands in a cars stereo system, but I definitely was going to upgrade it while staying on a moddest budget. So I started with the front speakers. I purchased a component set of Polk DXI 6.5 off of ebay. The speakers were brand new and I thought I was getting a complete component set. Well, when they arrived I received my speakers and my cross overs, but no tweeters. So I looked for replacement tweeters to match the DXI set I had. Well, they were discontinued. So after some research I purchased some Power Acoustik nb4's. Needless to say Im happy with the 14 bucks I dropped on them. So now it was time for a head unit. I wanted something with adjustability, a equalizer, 3 rca pre-outs, and separate subwoofer control. So I ended up buying a Kenwood kdc-610u.l, and I love it. So now im stuck. I currently have my rear speakers unplugged and I dont know if I want to replace them now or purchase a amp and just enjoy what I currently have. Im looking at the Power Acoustik MID65's for the rear, but theirs so many choices for amps I don't even know where to begin. So what should I do? Buy a amp, or get my rear speakers and than purchase a amp? I'll be running a separate amp for my sub but thats later on down the road.

Normally, I would say just to forget about the rear speakers, and amp up the front stage you got going on right now... which is what I still personally recommend, but considering you don't have anything coming from the rear at all, you may want to look into a cheap set for the back. Something basic is better than nothing. Just keep in mind, the front stage is WAY more important than the rear. Get yourself a 4-channel amp, and a fairly cheap set for the rear and you're good to go.

If you still have the polk audio speakers, maybe you could put those in the rear? Then I would honestly ditch the front stage you have at the moment and buy a nice component set for the front. That's just me though. What's your budget for everything you want?

Well I don't really have a budget set because I buy the parts I need at separate times. What woud you consider to be a good compoment set under 100 dollars ? I personally think the dxi's I have and the power Acoustik nb4's sound good just off of the head unit. But I have noticed I really can only turn it up so loud without distortion( They really want more power). I dont think the polks are cheap lol, I was going to throw some 61/2 mid bass drivers in the rear and hook a amp up to all my components but idk....Im open to any suggestions.
