The problem will not be inflation, its that minumam wage will not change. They just had it go for it to be raised to $6.50, obviosly voted aginst. No one with the pwoer to raise minum wage wants to, what its in for them?

You don't think a 30% increase in salary will directly affect prices?

If you have 10 illegal immigrants running a farm, and they sell banana's at $10/barrel...you don't think that price will change if their salary increases by $2-3/hr?

If this law goes through and is strictly enforced...we'll see inflation in many areas all across the economy.

You guys don't realize the ramifications that these new laws that are being proposed will have on our economy.
Firstly, illegal immigrants will have to pay a shit ton of money just to get a green card. $1000/person plus backtaxes.

Now, they are legally allowed to work in the US for x amount of days/months/whatever. How do you think their pay is going to look? You think they'll still get $5/hr? They're going to at least get minimum wage, if not more. You know what that's going to do to inflation?
