OK, so we have established that you have a 1-channel (aka monoblock) amp and should wire four 4-ohm SVC (single voice coil) subs like this:

... which will make the amp "see" a single 1-ohm load.

You could also get four 2-ohm DVC (dual voice coil) subs and wire them like this to make the amp see a single 1-ohm load:

okay now i'm thinking about wiring 4 of these guys (ZX12D4) to the amp instead of the HFi's because i was misinformed

they are dvc 500rms 1000watt max, i can get them brand new for $50 each. 4 of these would be like having 4 of the diablos

OK, do it. Get four 2-ohm DVC models. Wiring it like this achieves a 1-ohm load:

I couldn't get the specs page to load to confirm that your amp is capable of handling a 1-ohm load, so you need to verify that yourself.

Oops ... Are those SVC subs? If so, wire it like this:

Oops again ... The ZX12D4 is not the right model for your setup. You need the ZX12S4.

OP, your just like i was for a while. Slow down on what you want to get now, and read around on here and think about your decision. because I shot myself in the foot after i learned that I just wasted money on a system thats no good.

No hatin, just trying to give you some insight. Think a lil more about what you want. You want to get 4 $50 subs? If your gonna spend 200 bucks than I would rather get a decent or good used sub for $200 or even cheaper.

Yes, true ... this is the best response. People here can tell you what to get based on what you ask. But, once you are a more knowledgeable you'll probably wish you had waited and spent your money once you knew on your own what you really want/ need. Of course, even if you do that, and build what you think is the baddest system, the last one you'll ever need ... 2-3 days later you'll already have ideas for your next system!
