What subs?

I need a recommendation for a set of 12 subs or a single 15...

only subs ive owned were rockford t2 15 and a 13w7... both got loud... both sounded sloppy tho... 13w7 was good only when i cranked it up then it took over.

here is my system.

Head unit- kenwood dnx8120

componenets- boston spz60

rear speakers- boston sl95

amplifier- rockford power 1000 25 to life

my amplifier is good for about 950 watts rms at 1 ohm

i was thinking about a set of boston g5 12's in a sealed box

let me know what you guys think.

i want a mix of sound quality and SPL... more towards sound quality...

Hertz ml3800?... i can get one for 500 bucks brand new from a local dealer... aka my buddy gary.

no budget... just dont go flying off the handle and tell me to buy an LMS- ultra for 2 grand LOL

i have used JL w3 w6 and w7 they all sloppy , i am running 2 12 IDQv.3 right now and love it, IDMax if you you got money, i will try them 1 day.
