I just bought a Rockford Fosgate t1500-bdcp amp from SonicElectronix, i plan on upgrading the big 3 & alt/battery this week. This is my first build so i wanna make sure i do it correctly. My question is, what would be two good subs to get (SPL) wise? Subs that would last a long time and be LOUD! I was thinkin either two Kicker L7 12" or 1 (maybe 2) Fi BL 12".

I listen to mainly rap music and just wanna be heard from a long distance. (my neighbors are assholes so i plan on ****** with them too haha).

I don't plan on competing or anything.

Suggestions/Advice?

1. I like bass? that's kinda why I'm building it duh. i just prefer loudness and being heard over sound quality

3. I drive a cavalier so around 15"H 30"W 25"D in the trunk

4. I'll keep that noted Mr. SQ.

I think that you are confused, higher spl dosent necessarily mean that it will be louder to your human ear. do you want deep bass or just to be loud around a certain freq range?

keep the attitude in check, all i was saying is people that build systems having messing with people in mind tend to be a big part of the reason that people are trying to pass laws against us.

if you want to run the sa-12s i have a design for them that will fit in a cavalier that had a pair doing 144 at 40 off of an ap1500. and still sounds good doing it. but its a very tight fit and wont come back out once its in.

and if you think im an sq guy you need to check the equipment in my sig. the last part was more of a joke.

I have a design in mind for the future for my cavy; it will be stupid loud I'll be using 4 dayton HO dvc sealed. Right now I have a modified Decware Wicked One for 12in subs in my trunk, just a warning it took 3 grown men passionately shoving pushing and jump kicking the box to get it in, and No it is not possible to remove it.
