2 12" Diamond D6's or 1 12" JL Audio W7??

Trying to decide which setup to get. Either way I got would be in a ported box.

If I got with the D6's I was looking at a 2000watt Brutas amp or something similar.

If I went with the JL, I'd prolly get the 1000.1 amp.

Ive heard the W7 setup but I havent heard the D6's...Noone around here deals with Diamond...But I do have Diamond CM3's right now and I like them but im trying to get some more bass.

I like SPL but SQ has to be decent.

I have 2 d6's and they are really good. From what I have read one d6 is almost on par with the w7's so i think you would get allot more output from the 2 d6's.

d9 and w7 are comparable, 2 vs one is apples to oranges the d6's should deff end up louder than the w7 is and are cheaper

Ya I think 2k is too much I have mine running on a Memphis mcd1100 and they slam real hard!

if ur electrical is stock i dont think u will see anywhere around that 2000 rms....so u should be fine

Hmm thanks. Maybe ill look into a little smaller amp.Dont want to put to much strain on my elec. system

Get 4 out these and run them off of 2000 watts.HiVi SP10 10" Subwoofer

if ur electrical is stock i dont think u will see anywhere around that 2000 rms....so u should be fine

that means voltage drops creating clipping = burnt coils

so not fine even then

and don't run the hifi crap

I would go with the d6's. I have seen them handle 800-900wrms and Id say they could take upwards of 1k.

I would MAYBE trust them at like 900 or so, but I would sell them if I was going to run that much power to them.

And yes those Hivi subs are the truth!

I would also take a look at Dayton Reference Series subwoofers. They are extremely cheap, yet well built, handle around 600 watts rms a piece and are very musical subs. At the price partsexpress.com has them for you could do at least 4 of them for the price of one w7, and they're pretty 5exy too.

the D6's are nice I got to sit in a demo car with 4 of them running off a single 1000 watt diamond audio amp.

Also sat in another Demo car with 2 Hex's each on a 1k diamond audio amp made the D6's sound like the one sub in my trunk.
